Teenage genius, pastors daughter, loner. Everyone in town knows about Jade Wing.
At least, they think they do.

Jades world has become a little complicated lately. A little bigger. A little frightening.

It began one fall day while she was at school, honing her mind at the local university. The men who kidnapped her mother and attacked her father were hoping to dig up information and scare Jade into seeking sanctuary within the corrupt, world-governing System. They didnt recognize the treasure hidden under their noses...that Pastor Jeff Wing - before his reformation - had been the infamous Jae Tau Sun, master engineer of Cyber-Tek technology and Hyper-illumination weapons powerful enough to destroy civilization; powerful enough to bring civilization securely under the thumb of anyone who wielded it.

What no one knows about Jade is that shes fighting back. She's found her fathers lab. She's found his Hyper-illumination armor and weapons. Not only does she understand his technology, but she's improving it.

When Jade dons her armor she commands the power of Hyper-illumination crystal, better known on the street as Shadow-Light because of its capacity to cause darkness and chaos using the energy of light. But Jade will use it for good. With her computerized armor, a visor that sees all, weapons and propulsion, shes ready for action and capable of taking on any enemy, whether brain or brawn. Though her primary mission is to save her mother, she has a more imposing task ahead. Jade and Jeff accept the challenge to reveal evil, illuminate the truth, and strive to bring an end to the dark tyranny of the System.

On top of all this, Jade has homework and her father has a sermon to prepare.
