The AXIS Universe

Our jumping on point for the AXIS Universe takes place 49 years into the future. Earth is a different place than the one we now know in some ways. In many ways it is very much the same.

The storyline begins with the arrival of ChulRah, a villainous being from another galaxy. He is accompanied by his marauding hordes and pursued by the five Winstrong brothers (described in the tales of D.E.D. Lev:1). The earth that ChulRah finds is one that is primed for his dark take-over.

In the years prior to ChulRah's arrival, most every nation joined together to form a one world government known as the United System of Sovereign Nations, or more commonly referred to as the System There are still a few independent nations but they are not thriving and must depend on their trade agreements with the System to survive.

When the Systems unification talks began between the nations, the United States president, Samuel E. Adon, publicly opposed the proposed United System of Sovereign Nations. As one of the greatest presidents in American history, his views carried significant weight with the people of his country as well as others around the globe. It was not long after going public with his opposition that his airplane mysteriously crashed in the Mediterranean Sea. President Adon was lost. His body was never recovered.

After the vice president, Sandoval Farrow was appointed to the presidency, he told of his last moments with president Adon and how he had reconsidered his position on the System. He declared that president Adons last decision as president was for the United States of America to join the System.

One of the first acts of the System was to provide relief to the worlds energy crisis while simultaneously reigning in the plague of crime and terrorism around the world. Seven industrial prisons the size of Montana were constructed at the bottom of worlds oceans. Prisoners were turned into worker drones as they mined newly discovered minerals and ores at the bottom of the seas. Their bio-molecular make up was also slowly transformed into various forms of energy, fuel and resources.

Great men and women from around the globe were recruited to sit in key positions within the System. These people included General Luke Barron of the Canadian Air force, Joshua Graco, Supreme Court Justice and Pulitzer Prize winning scientist Lois Montavo. These and other gifted individuals joined the System, but soon saw the deep seeded corruption within the System. They saw the unholy alliances between the System and other nefarious organizations. The most prominent was with the Vincolo.
The Vincolo (the Italian word meaning stronghold) is the largest organized crime syndicate the world has ever seen. It employs the services of the highest paid thieves, assassins and mercenaries around the world. The Vincolo has a hand in most every criminal business across the world, whether realized or not. The Vincolo has ties to street gangs, drug dealers, arms manufacturing and scores of illicit groups.

When key System officials uncover the plans of Barron, Graco and Montavo to expose the corrupt workings of the System, the Vincolos services were called upon to silence their voices. But unbeknownst to System, the three traitors had joined forces with a secret individual and formed a resistance cell they called AXIS. Their deaths would not stop the fight for freedom.The AXIS movement quickly spread and people from around the planet joined. This secret alliance sought to bring aid to the victims of the System and to expose the corruption within. As recognition of the resistance grew, the Systems efforts to taint their image increased. Many criminal and terrorist acts were attributed to AXIS. School students of every age were filled with slanderous propaganda about AXIS. Media news sources reported biased, damning stories of the resistance movement. To many, AXIS was a malevolent threat of madmen and women. To some, AXIS was a shaft of light in a bleak and darkened world.

ChulRah took the reigns of this already darkened world and placed its entire machine under his control. He set his key generals as the dominating, ruling sovereigns over the System under the guise of world protection from the invading aliens he himself had brought. With the help of his right hand general and son, Cythor, ChulRah rules the earth with an unseen, iron hand.

But there are those who see the unseen. There are those who hear the cries of the fallen innocent. There are those who know the truth and are resolved to not only follow it, but also declare it and spread it among the people. There are those who are bold enough to fight and use their strengths and abilities to reclaim that which has been stolen. Where the darkness abounds, the light shines all that more brightly.

It is a time for hope. It is a time for faith. It is a time to stand strong
It is a time for heroes and legends.
